Impulse emerges from that threshold: a visceral instant where the divided mind could no longer wait— and the body simply acted. An outburst between urgency and longing. It’s not rational. It’s not planned. It’s pure, channeled energy. A dance between collapse and affirmation. There is no calm—but there is truth. Impulse embodies the paradox that runs through my entire practice: opposites coexisting, inner forces in conflict and creation— finding a midpoint, finding balance.
